Hello everybody !
Are you ready to enter into the romantic movies’ world ? Yes ??? So
get ready to take out your handkerchiefs !
How doesn't
begin with the most popular movie of the last century : THE TITANIC.
It is not the most recent of the category : indeed, the movie was
produced in 1997 and went out in January 1998, James Cameron was the
director. But it was also resumed in 2012, in 3D this time. The
casting combines two internationally recognized actors, Kate Winslet
(who is Rose) and Leonardo Dicaprio (who is Jack). Everybody knows
the story (I hope!), that’s why I would to focalize on the
contribution of the 3D, in this post. But I can’t stop me from
reminding briefly the little story to you, just for the pleasure …
“ The 10th
April 1912, in the Southampton. The taller, the most recent and the
unsinkable cruise liner the Titanic, casts off for its first trip.
But four days later, it hits an iceberg. On board there are Jack, a
poor artist, and Rose, an upper middle-class lady. They will falling
in love … “
Titanic in 3D
takes a year of work, and requires a little investment of eighteen
millions dollars. But, according to James Cameron himself, it is a
real art which give new feelings on the audience. He said : “the
sensation to be there, next to the characters, intensifies the
emotional interaction between the public and the movie”. And I
think he is right. We could almost touch the china, the wood of the
rail, and the fresh flowers in their vase. According to me, the most
important passages are not the action scenes, but the intimate
moments.
I remember two
scenes in particular : the first is the one where Jack takes Rose in
the gym and asks her to free from the world which holds her prisoner.
The 3D allows to get into the heart of the relationship between the
two heroes. The second is the one in which Jack shouts “I am the
king of the world !” and kisses Rose. Who has not ever dreamed to
be a member of the scene, to be as closely as possible to the
characters at this moment there?
To conclude,
Titanic is just a big film, with the bad guy, with the couple of
lovers, and with
the disaster…
That’s why you can see it again and again, and you never grow tired
of it !

I agree with you, I just love this film! I remember an other scene, when Jack and Rose tryed to spit as far as possible, it's so funny! I wanted to see the film in 3D but I had no opportunities... But Titanic mix humour, romance, tragedy, action, all ingredients to make a very good film!
RépondreSupprimerI like when Jack and Rose are dancing, because music remind of me Irish music..
